“Before I formed you in the womb

I knew you,

and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Jeremiah 1:5

A picture is worth a thousand words

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Jeremiah 31:3

The banner Photo above & this one is shot with the same camera.

I hung Pentax Camera on a dead tree branch to take this photo in the Shepherd’s Field of Qiyagh, southwest of Ghazni city.

The Lord has been good to me.

As early as seven or eight years old, I began using my father’s old camera and learned how to take photos. When I was smuggled through Dasht-e-Barchi, Qargha, Kote Ashro, Maidan, and finally to Bini Sang of Deh-Nial in Ghazni in 1981, He graciously also gave me his prized and precious camera—a Pentax LX with a single 50mm lens. The hardrest part was, when I had to sell my precious camera to pay for my journey to Iran.
My father who did not speak with me for 25 years finally after my conversion to Christ, literally hired men who shot at me several bullets in South Extention area o f New Delhi. Of all things, an open gutter into which I fell, the Lord protected me with. Yes, He saved me first from the gutter of sin & on that day He had other plans for that city gutter to be open.
Here is the good news, at the age of 95 he gave his life to the Lord Jesus just before he left the earth. He said:
Son, I know you speak very well, but I undestood better Mr. Logari on your show. So last night I prayed and I am now a follower of the Lord Jesus.” Man, Khalil won that one!

The healing

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21

On October 14, 1990 after nearly 10 years of journey

The Lord healed me from hatred and saved me during a gospel camp at Sunlight Colony. Yes, Sunlight became Son-Light that night.

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:8

Like an old violin in the hands of a virtuoso,
a camera in the hands of Allan Luther
was truly in the hands of a master.

Allan

was my camera Gamaliel

This Phto was shot by Allan in 1992.
In 1990 When Muslim Afghans tried to kill me Allan Luther
a man of God also one of my elders, gave me shelter in his home.
In fact his own life and his family’s was threatened because
I was given shelter by him.
Here are his words to me when I decided to leave his home
for thier safety:
“If it comes to that, we rather die and go together with you
to Jesus our Lord than to let your feet cross the door of A7/3″

1 Corinthians 11:1

I’ve learned a lot from Allan,
especially in refining my camera and video skills.
I even acted in one of his TV films.

This is another photo shot by Allan Luther in 1993

This photo was taken to Islamabad by Rodney Devorty to be given to Mark Morris.

I just returned from gospel trip to Nepal when the Lord chose a different direction for my life. There is a miraclouse story behind it but it is rather very personal.
The Lord has been good to me inspite of many stuggles in life. Yes, I was at times broght low but He lifted me up again and again.

“…The Lord preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me…”
Psalm 116
